WineKitz In-store Winery Process

The first step in the wine-making process is to select a wine kit based on your preferred taste and varietal (s). Staff are readily available to help point you in the right direction. After purchasing your wine kit and in-store winery service, we will help you choose a bottling appointment that best suits your schedule. Wine readiness depends on the type of wine but typically takes 4 to 8 weeks until your wine will be ready to bottle. Each kit makes 30 bottles and there are less sulphites in our wines than commercial wine.

We will guide you through the entire wine-making process which may include adding oak chips or other flavour enhancing ingredients. To get your wine just right, we can also adjust sweetness levels. During the 4-8 week period, store staff will perform many necessary tasks to ensure a delicious wine at the end.

For your bottling appointment, we provide all the necessary equipment to bottle your wine: sterilizing bottle washer, bottle filler, pneumatic corker, and shrink cap machine. You can choose from ready-made labels or even design your own to suit any occasion. It’s a fun and easy process with staff ready to offer a hand.
